In the spirit of exciting sales and giveaways...

UpScale CNC is donating to the MARS raffle-  Last year it was a kit.  This year-

Winner gets fins, rings, bulkheads for (nearly) any size, any design, any thickness (1/4, 3/8, 1/2 aircraft ply).  You supply tubes and cone.  Parts have to be designed by May 1.  Tube slotting and other shopwork might be included.  Plan on a project 7.5" or smaller.

Wow very nice.  Is that even valid for those who like rockets with at least 9 fins on it?

Special for MARS members on R&R Model Aircraft:

Currently the Gamma Star and Delta Star Rocket planes are on sale on the website http://www.randrmodelaircraft.com  (10% off) . For those interested MARS members, I will give another 10% off through Christmas. E-mail me and I can bring them to the banquet. (paypal accepted, just let me know).

Otherwise, I have lots of mod rocs kits to donate to the raffle! Big Grin

My contribution is 2 keychain cameras (chucklohr.com-described #3) with micro SD cards along with a date/time program that makes it very easy to set the dates on them. Cameras have been tested and they take very good video images. A little masking tape or electrical tape is all you need to fasten them to your rocket and take some cool video. They take 720 x 480 pixel videos at 30 fps. Not HD, but the images are good quality. And the cameras only weigh 16 grams each.

RC rocket gliders are allowed at MARS launches.  MARS doesn't wish to get into flying RC airplanes...
